Building Dedication and Open House
Weekend of church dedication activities and celebrations planned First UU Church front

The First Universalist Unitarian Church of Wausau, Wisconsin will be having a weekend of church dedication activities and celebrations September 8-9. After extensive fundraising, planning and construction, our new amazing addition will be ready for use by our congregation and community.

We are planning open house activities and a dedication ceremony to celebrate our wonderful new renovation. From noon-5:00 on Saturday, September 8, there will be tours, crafts, refreshments and storytelling. A special church dedication service is planned for Sunday, September 9 at 10:30 a.m. This will be followed by more open house activities until 3:00 p.m.

General Assembly

Our delegation to the General Assembly of the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations has

returned from Portland, Oregon. Highlights of some of the major events are available for viewing on

Chalice Lighter Grant

A grant was awarded from the Central Midwest District to help complete our religious education facilities.

Our beautiful sanctuary is available for weddings and memorial services.
